Little Monkey Murals Limited, a UK based company, was started in 2001 as a way of helping parents to design and decorate individual bedrooms and nurseries for their children and proved to be a great success. We wanted parents to be able to create spaces for their children that would be as fun and unique as they are. From the correspondence that we received and still receive daily, it became clear that there was a need for this simple and straightforward advice and help.

From that we realised that much advice can be given, but many parents were and are still wary of using their own hand to paint their children's rooms. So we put our heads together and came up with the perfect solution - stencils.

But no ordinary run-of-the-mill stencils, our ethos has always been individuality, so after much head scratching we realised that parents needed the tools to create that individual room for themselves. A set of stencils that when put together create a mural. The beauty being that even if two thousand people used the same set of stencils, each mural would still be unique and individual to the creator, and this was exactly what we wanted. And so Make A Mural Stencils was born.

This then grew and expanded into our own Accessories Range which was launched in May 2002. All our items are hand made and hand painted in our own workshop here in Bedford, so you know when you buy something from us, it is truly exclusive. We paint to order so you know that nothing has just been taken off a shelf, each order is important and individual and is treated as such. Bespoke design need not cost a fortune and we aim to ensure that our range and service is both wide and affordable.

Many ranges later our Accessories Store out grew our capacity so in 2007 we expanded again and for the first time took in outside suppliers. We felt that our customers deserved to be able to buy high quality items, and we wanted to continue our high standers and thus choose only suppliers who make items that are either of excellent quality, ethical, green, natural, Fair Trade, organic or indeed all of the above.

This then led us to a futher expansion into our totally new section LMM Goes Green. We believe in preserving the planet for our children and to that end have introduced a range of our own design organic clothing as well as many Organic, Ethical, Eco-Friendly, Green and Frair Traded items. So good for you and good for the environment.

We are now working on new sections, as well as increasing our range still further, so look out for many more new things in the future.
