What is the cost?
This very much depends on what design or idea you decide on. Of course the biggest and most immeasurable cost is your time, bearing in mind that this is by no means an easy task, and preparation is key.
Then you must look at the current state of the room you intend to tackle, is it a blank canvas or will you need to prepare the room first ? -See Preparation.
If you do not have a computer or need to hire equipment this also needs to
be taken into account. Then there is the cost of the paint, this very much
depends on how complex your design is and on how many walls you intend to
paint?
If you are intending to revamp the entire room, as we did, then don't forget
the little details such as cupboard
knobs, curtains, rugs and accessories to name but a few, as all of
these must be taken into account when looking at cost.
Of course you can always commission for your design to be transferred to
the wall. This may initially seem a very expensive option but will save a
lot of your time and effort especially if both are in short supply.
Also if you would like a complex design or one covering more than one wall,
but are not fully confident this could be a more cost effective option then
trying to do it yourself. Contact.
